Friday, First Bank Inquiry

   I would like to thank you all for a wonderful first week of school! Every Friday, your points will be displayed on a "Bank Inquiry" thread. Remember, it's not a competition. The purpose of this game is to inspire us to all be kinder; to be a team player, an active listener; to be accountable for our actions, and responsible of caring for our classroom. All of you have the potential to receive homework passes (20 points), an additional A added to your grade average (50 points), and to throw your own class party (100 points)! Excellent work.    Now that your avatars are on blogspot, we're ready to start banking our points. To earn your first point, on this thread, post one positive thing you learned about a classmate over the last two days. To earn your point, you must read the comments below to be sure you are posting about a student who has not yet been written about. Welcome! First Day

     Welcome to your new classroom! This will be your online classroom space. Your first assignment is to log onto avatarmaker.com to design your character. Your avatar is to symbolize your super-hero self! It will help encourage you to earn points through kindness, teamwork, active listening, accountability of actions, and partaking in the classroom jobs. 20 points are awarded with one homework assignment pass. 50 points earns an additional A added to your test grade average. 100 points are celebrated with a class party (the  big winner chooses the party theme)! I hope this game will encourage us all to be our best selves, creating a truly happy classroom.
